Retell AI
AI voice agent platform for building, deploying and managing agents that handle inbound and outbound calls, execute workflows, use business data and automate phone based operations.
About Retell AI
Retell AI is an AI voice agent platform for building, deploying and managing agents that handle inbound and outbound phone conversations. Agents can answer calls, place outbound calls, qualify leads, book appointments, retrieve customer information and transfer conversations to human representatives.
The platform provides a visual environment for designing call flows with functions, integrations, call transfers, DTMF, SMS and custom logic. Agents can use knowledge bases and connected business systems during conversations, while call outcomes and captured information can be written back to CRM systems.
Retell Workflows supports actions before and after calls. Pre-call functions can retrieve customer or business context and pass it into the conversation. Post-call functions can update records or trigger follow-up actions. Functions can be configured to execute sequentially or in parallel.
Retell also provides APIs, SDKs, webhooks and a hosted MCP server. These interfaces allow teams to create and update agents, launch calls, manage phone numbers and knowledge bases, inspect calls, run QA and automate agent operations programmatically.
